CITY SEWAGE(DRAINAGE) SYSTEM VISUALIZATION

Description of Idea:
The idea of the project is to visualize the city drainage system around your locality. The idea is to identify how things get disposed. Waste water travels through an intricate system of drainage lines and gets disposed off somewhere.It would be cool to see the underground flow in the city. The idea is based on the fact that people make small paper boats and put them in streams and they navigate a certain path.

Description of Data:
The data is generated for the project by actually tracking a device that flows through the drainage system and recording the co-ordinates of the device. Thinking about the device initially, I feel that a small water proof envelope with a GPS inside should do the trick. A couple of devices can be dropped in sewers around your area and then the tracked co-ordinates can be visualized.

Additional Information: I am confident about the graphics and visualization but I am not really sure about the electronics and the gadgets involved in the project completely.
