Visualizing Kiva Information to Make Better Lending Decisions

Description of Idea:
Kiva is a non-profit group that helps microfinance organizations collect and disperse money for loans. People sign up to donate a money and eventually when the loan gets repaid, the loaner gets repaid too. I want to make an application that will help lenders best choose to whom to lend their money. Right now, the website provides basic search and filtering features but one must still poke around to see a borrower's previous repayment history. I hope to provide a quick way to see where the borrower is from, what the loan is for, the borrower's loan history, and the repayment history.

Description of Data:
Kiva provides a RESTful web-service API to access their information. Lots of information is accessible such as specifics to the loan, lenders, etc. http://build.kiva.org/api
