The following resources are available to students enrolled in the class at CMU.

Mac Cluster

The Mac Cluster Lab in Wean 5201 has been set up to have all the tools required for this course. If you do not have an Apple machine for development, you'll want to familliarze yourself with the resources available here. Our Wednesday lab sessions will also be in this room. A schedule of reserved class time slots for the clusters can be found here.

iPads

HCII has a limited number of iPads available to loan to registered students of this course who do not have their own. Further information on how to borrow an iPad will be posted soon.

iOS SDK Resources

There is no textbook for this course. We will be primarily relying on online documentation and demos to teach iOS programming.

Course Forum

You'll notice many of the course webpages have an embedded forum. Please make use of the forum if you have any class related comments you want to share, or if you have questions that you want to discuss with other students and instructors. You may post with pseudonyms (though we suggest first names), just please use a consistent name/email address so we can effectively moderate the discussion.

Comments have to receive moderator approval before they appear on the site, but we have a whitelist so that everyone in the class can bypass approval. If your comments aren't being whitelisted, send us an email, and we'll fix it for you.
